Register for Fall 2023 and join our weekly lessons!
If you are a CMU-affiliated individual (student, faculty, staff, visiting scholar, etc):
Join Tartan Salsa on TartanConnect and you're all set!
If you are a community member: To be an active member you must register on TartanConnect and pay club dues.
Club dues can be paid here; drop into a Tuesday class and we'll get you started with the TartanConnect process.
All members must agree to our Code of Conduct to attend classes!
Everybody is always welcome to join us for a trial class before becoming a member. So don't hesitate to come and dance with us!
Types of Membership
CMU Students: If you are CMU student (both undergrad or graduate), you are the reason Tartan Salsa was started! Your membership is FREE!
Trainee member (students at other institutions + postdocs + low income): You are welcome to join our dancing too! Your membership is $25/semester.
Community member (everyone else): We are a student organization, so you might have other alternatives to learn from professional instructors, but if you want to join us you absolutely still can! Your membership is $50/semester.
Above all, we never want cost to keep you from the joys of dancing! All our memberships are relatively low-cost, but we understand that everyone has different financial situations so if you want to join our club but are under financial strain please email us or talk to us privately and we'll work something out!
Please note that minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Tartan Salsa is not responsible for unaccompanied minors.
