In addition to Tartan Salsa classes, we offer some other fun programming for our members! 

Social Dance Events

We love going out to dance socials around Pittsburgh, as well as local and regional workshops and dance festivals. There are lots of opportunities to dance in Pittsburgh! For a great list of current events, check out the Salsa Pittsburgh website, where they have all the latest Salsa news in the Pittsburgh dance community.

You will find Tartan Salsa members at almost all of these events. If you have any questions or want to know who is going when, you can ask in our Discord server and plan outings with other members, or simply chat with your classmates on Tuesdays and make new friends!

You can find many opportunities in the city to dance salsa, bachata, kizomba, merengue, zouk... But remember to stay mindful of the situation with the ongoing pandemic: be safe out there, everyone!

Workshops on campus

We love hosting professional instructors to teach us about technique, culture, body movement and other essential aspects of dance that help take our skills and understanding to the next level. Learning from seasoned dancers in a small setting is an incredibly enriching experience, and we want to bring it to you doorstep!
